Nathan Harsch is Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. In
this role, he leads Westinghouse’s global ethics & compliance organization, which provides independent
oversight and governance of the organization's compliance with laws and regulations, and internal
Company investigations. Mr. Harsch also has oversight of Westinghouse’s trade controls and sanctions,
privacy, and nuclear safeguards programs. Before assuming his current position in 2019, Mr. Harsch held
various roles of increasing responsibility within Westinghouse Legal & Compliance department. Prior to
joining Westinghouse, Mr. Harsch worked for the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade
Administration.

Karim holds an engineering degree in Electronics and Signal Processing, along with a Master's in Quality Management. He is a graduate of l’École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers in Paris (ENSAM).
With over a decade of international experience at Schlumberger, Karim held key roles in Technical and Operations Management across the USA, UK, and the Netherlands.
Since returning to France, he has spent the past nine years at Dassault Systèmes as an Industry Process Expert Director, where he supports clients in their digital transformation journeys, focusing on quality , regulatory and sustainability compliance.

With 18 years in automotive transformation, I’ve been fortunate to work across Europe, North America, & Asia with Renault, Nissan, Hyundai, & Stellantis.
I was honored to be named one of HEC Paris’s Top 50 Inspiring Leaders.

Today, I serve on the board of Appning by Forvia, where I’m also Managing Director. Our focus is on creating new businesses rooted in software & technology to shape in-car experiences.

My background spans full automotive value chain from industrialization & vehicle programs to product planning, marketing, & strategic partnerships. I’ve helped build & scale connected services, infotainment apps, Software-defined vehicles, EV charging offers, & data-driven business models such as subscriptions using OTA updates, CRM tools, fleet services, & in-car advertising.

I enjoy working with diverse teams & building strong collaborations with teams of over 500 people and work closely with Tech companies to bring innovation to the car.
